MLK Day of Service

What: Urban Tilth, The Richmond Greenway, and the Watershed Project have organized a day of service revolving around building a rain garden, landscaping, and restoring the natural beauty of the area.

Parade and Rally
What: Honoring Maya Angelou, the annual parade in El Cerrito will celebrate the theme “Still I Rise - Hands Up for Justice”
When: Monday, January 19th. The rally starts at 9:00 am followed by the parade at 9:30

MLK Mentor Day
What: The Coalition for Black Male Achievement is hosting an event to honor the vision of Martin Luther King while helping to develop the minds and aspirations of young black men between the ages of 7 and 21.
