“The Gamester” at Masquers Playhouse

What: The monthly event of regional traditional Mexican dance and music returns to the East Bay Center

Where: The East Bay Center for Performing Arts, 339 11th Street, Richmond
Why: The East Bay Center is home to of some of the most culturally diverse performances in the Bay Area, and the regular Fandango series is a chance to see and enjoy traditional Mexican song and dance.
Working on the Greenway
What: The regular second Saturday work event from the Watershed project
When: Saturday, February 13, from 10 am to 1 pm
Where: Meet at 6th street between Ohio and Chanslor Avenue, Richmond
Why: The Richmond Greenway has become a hub of community engagement and revitalization, and the Watershed project invites you to join in their efforts to make it even better.
Jazz Art Workshop
What: An afternoon of creating art inspired by live jazz at the Richmond Art Center
When: Saturday, February 13, from 2:30 pm to 4 pm

Chinese New Year Celebration
What: The City’s celebration of the Year of the Monkey. No tickets will be sold at the door, so click the “Learn more” link below to get your tickets.

Where: The Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond

Why: Show Richmond some love this Valentine’s day by planting trees to make the city a greener place.
Storytelling Open Mic
What: Kaleidoscope Coffee, Point Richmond’s newest coffee house, hosts a storytelling open mic

Freshest Cargo: Mobile Farmers' Market
What: The mobile farmers’ market Freshest Cargo makes its rounds in Richmond
When: Wednesday, February 17, from 10 am to 3:30 pm
Where: Various locations. From 10 am to 11:30, the truck will be at the YMCA located at 263 South 20th Street. From 12 pm to 1:30, the truck will be at Chelsey Ave at Fred Jackson Way in North Richmond. From 2 to 3:30, the truck will be at the Parchester Community Center located at 900 Williams Drive, Richmond
