44th Annual KPFA Crafts Fair
What: The largest holiday crafts fair in Northern California returns to the Craneway!
When: Saturday, December 20th through Sunday, December 21st from 10 am to 5:00 pm
Where: The Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way South, Richmond
Why: Featuring hundreds of artists — many right from Richmond — the KPFA Crafts Fair is the perfect chance to check out the work of local artists and pick up those last-minute Christmas gifts.

Candy Cane Classic Basketball Tournament
What: The annual holiday basketball tournament for girls and boys.
When: Friday, December 19 through Sunday, December 21st

Why: The Candy Cane Classic is one of the best opportunities for basketball teams from around the Bay Area to get together and play.

Santa Bear and the Three Pigs Puppet Show
What: A holiday themed puppet show at the main branch of the Richmond library.
When: Friday, December 19th at 3 pm
Where: 325 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond
Why: This puppet show tells an unconventional reimagining of the classic Three Pigs story. Stop by for some afternoon storytelling on this rainy day.

Luv Stoned at the Baltic
What: Luv Stoned performs at the Point Richmond bar and music venue.

Bayside Birds at Point Pinole
What: Richmond Trees’ December Tree planting event
When: Saturday, December 20th, from 2 pm to 4 pm
Where: Point Pinole Bay Trail, Richmond
Why: Naturalist Anthony Fisher is an expert in birds along the Bay. If you’ve ever wanted to learn about our local avian population, this is your chance.

Community Christmas Celebration
What: The third annual Community Christmas Celebration
When: Saturday, December 20 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm
Where: 2330 Macdonald Avenue, Richmond 
Why: Last year, the Community Christmas Celebration was able to give coats to nearly 300 local kids in need. This year the organization is set to give even more. Come out to help volunteer and partake in the season of giving.

Christmas Pageant at Point Richmond Methodist
What: United First Methodist Church is holding their annual Christmas Pageant
When: Sunday, December 21st, at 11 am
Where: United First Methodist Church
Why: Featuring a performance by the Angel Chior and volunteers from Masquers Playhouse, the spoken word and sung rendition of the Christmas Story at the Pageant is a great way to welcome in the holiday week.

What: The Richmond Recreation Department is organizing two nights of crafts, cookie decorating, music, and much more.
