Through the benevolence of Chevron, $35 million has been provided to help Richmond youth attend college.

In this inaugural year of the Richmond Promise, the deadline is quickly approaching.  The deadline for applying this year is midnite on Thursday March 17th.

Part of the application, though, requires a FAFSA—Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  The FAFSA requires financial information usually associated with an income tax return so there is not time to waste in preparing for the Richmond Promise application.

As the California Lottery people say: “You can’t win if you don’t play.”  Someone’s going to get this money so why not you?
