Recently, a Richmond resident met in the FoodsCo parking lot for a vehicle sale. After the purchase the victim walked away with cash from the purchase. Three juveniles witnessed the transaction and physically assaulted the victim and took the money.

The Richmond Police Department would like to remind you about the “Community Exchange Zone” here at the police department (1701 Regatta Blvd). The exchange zone is a safe place for you to meet for private party transactions and/or custody exchanges.

The zone is well-lit and under 24 hour video surveillance. You can find the zone marked in yellow.
