What: A weekend-long music festival at the Craneway Pavilion

Where: The Craneway Pavilion, 1414 Harbour Way South, Richmond 
Why: Audio on the Bay assembles some of the best NorCal musicians for a weekend of electronic music and dancing. Come out to celebrate Memorial Day weekend at the Craneway!

What: Reverend Rabia and Keizo perform at the Richmond Public Library
When: Friday, May 22nd, from 6 pm to 7 pm
Where: Richmond Public Library, Main Branch, 325 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond
Why: Shattering all stuffiness about keeping libraries quiet, the music in the library series brings fun and music to the city’s main branch.

Triskela Harp Trio and the Bay Area Youth Harp Ensemble in Point Richmond
What: The internationally influenced harp group comes to Point Richmond for an afternoon of traditional music.
When: Sunday, May 24th, at 2 pm
Where: Point Richmond Methodist Church, 201 Martina, Point Richmond
Why: It’s not every day that a harp group influenced by the British Isles, Latin America, and California comes to Point Richmond. Come out for an afternoon of unique music in the beautiful Point Richmond church.

What: The closing reception of the breathtaking exhibition by Mildred Howard

Memorial Day Garage Sale
What: The 22nd annual Point Richmond Masquers Playhouse Garage Sale
When: Monday, May 25th
Where: Point Richmond
Why: With over 100 Point Richmond houses participating, this annual garage sale is a fun opportunity to mingle through shops while helping Masquers Playhouse, which receives 10% of the day’s proceeds.

Learning About Tall Ships
What: The first in the Richmond Museum of History’s lecture series, featuring a talk by Alan Olson of Educational Tall Ship
When:  Tuesday, May 26th, at 6:30 pm
Where: SS Red Oak Victory at 1337 Canal Boulevard, Richmond
Why: Tall ships used to rule the seas. Come out to hear about their construction and educational value from maritime expert Alan Olson.

Jamming at the Baltic
What: The Baltic’s regular jam session.
When:  Tuesday, May 26th, at 9 pm
Where: The Baltic, 135 Park Place, Point Richmond
Why: The Baltic offers some of the best music in Richmond, and their Tuesday jam sessions are an invitation to join the scene.

Freshest Cargo: Mobile Farmers' Market
What: The mobile farmers’ market Freshest Cargo makes its rounds in Richmond
When: Wednesday, May 27th, from 10 am to 3:30 pm
Where: Various locations. From 10 am to 11:30, the truck will be at the YMCA located at 263 South 20th Street. From 12 pm to 1:30, the truck will be at Chelsey Ave at Fred Jackson Way in North Richmond. From 2 to 3:30, the truck will be at the Parchester Community Center located at 900 Williams Drive, Richmond
Why: Densely urban environments are often the most difficult places to find fresh produce. Freshest Cargo has a mission to change that, one neighborhood at a time. Stop by for quality food at affordable prices.
