RICHMOND SAFE PARK PROGRAM NEIGHBORHOOD PRESENTATION

On Monday March 8^th the Richmond Neighborhood Coordinating Council (RNCC) hosted a presentation of the newly approved Richmond Safe Park Program scheduled to be installed in the Civic Center parking lot due west of the Richmond Auditorium.

This is a 1 year pilot program and is highly controversial with some neighbors willing to have the RV encampment in front of their own homes while others demanding it be relocated anywhere but in their neighborhood.

Michelle Milam is the point person for the City of Richmond and was the lead presenter.

There were well over 100 attendees of this ZOOM meeting and all were allowed to make comments and ask questions.
