What: A cocktail making class at Assemble, the restaurant next to the Craneway.

Why: Assemble's monthly cocktail class is informative and delicious. This month's theme is Hawaiian themed, too, so it will be a festive occasion.

What: A chance to tune up your bike at The Baltic. 
When: Tuesday, September 2nd, from 6 pm to 10 pm
Where: The Baltic, 1414 Harbour Way South, Richmond
Why: In collaboration with the Point Richmond Pedal Pub Club, the Baltic hosts Tuneup Tuesdays for local cyclists to get their bikes in line while enjoying a brew.

What: The Richmond Main Street initiative's Farmers' Market.
When: Wednesday, September 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm
Where: Nevin Plaza between 13th & Marina Way, Richmond
Why: This farmers' market is the best opportunity in Richmond to get the freshest produce from local farmers, and as summer winds down there will be fewer and fewer chances to enjoy the season's best food.
