Harbour Lights Music Festival
What: A music festival at the Craneway with headliners like the Dave Matthews Blues Band and Acoustic Soul.
When: Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th. Doors open at 7 pm.

Why: When else will you get to see these big names -- for free -- at the Craneway?
Story time returns to the library
What: Story time at Richmond libraries continues this week.
When: Monday, August 18th at 10:30 am.
Where: The Bayview Branch of the Richmond Library, 5100 Hartnett Ave., Richmond.
Why: This is a chance for children to sing songs, hear stories, and engage with stories new and old.
The Annual Member Show at the Richmond Arts Center
What: The annual show at the Richmond Arts Center, where local artists can display their work in various media.
When: The opening reception is Friday, August 15th from 11 am to 5 pm.
Where: Richmond Arts Center, 2540 Barrett Ave., Richmond.
Why: Featuring over 100 works by different artists, the Annual Member Show is a chance to see what Richmond's local artists have been pouring their passions into over the past year.
Singing at The Baltic
What: Karaoke at The Baltic
When: Thursday, August 21st at 8:00 pm
Where: The Baltic, 135 Park Place, Point Richmond
Why: The Baltic does karaoke every Thursday, but that doesn't make this week any less important. Sometimes you've just got to get out there and sing at a bar.
