What: A night of contemporary latin music at the Craneway

Why: Featuring Gabriel Diaz, Banda Carnival, and Luis Coronel, this Friday is a night to dance at the Craneway.
Richmond Steelers Rivalry Game
What: The Richmond Steelers' game against their East Bay Rival, the Oakland Dynamites
When: Saturday, September 13th, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Will C. Wood High School, 998 Marshall Road, Vacaville
Why: The Richmond Steelers is the oldest established football team with the youngest players. Come out and cheer on the local team as they face off against their rivals.
A Pancake Breakfast
What: The annual Hilltop Family YMCA pancake breakfast
When: Saturday, September 13th, from 8:00 am - 11:00 am
Where: Hilltop YMCA, 4300 Lakeside Dr, Richmond, CA
Why: What better reason is there to head out to the YMCA early in the morning if not for a pancake breakfast.

Latin American Heritage Day & Music Festival
What: A day of music, dancing, and celebration in honor of Latin American heritage.
When: Saturday, September 14th, from 10 am to 5 pm
Where: Restaurante La Revolución, 3190 Klose Way, Richmond
Why: Azteca dances, a car show, face painting, music, and more will be a part of this celebration.
New exhibitions at the Richmond Art Center
What: The opening reception of the fall shows at the Richmond Art Center
When: Saturday, September 13th ,from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: Richmond Art Center, 2540 Barrett Avenue, Richmond
Why: The fall exhibitions at the Richmond Art Center are an opportunity to view the new work from local artists. Work from abstract metalist Tom Holland, printmaker Frank Lobdell, and many more are featured in this show
Richmond Spirit & Soul Festival
What: A day of music, dancing, and soul at the 6th annual Richmond Spirit & Soul Festival

Where: Macdonald Avenue, between Harbour Way and 13th Street, Downtown Richmond
Why: With performances from the East Bay Center for Performing Arts' Iron Triangle Urban Ballet, an outdoor market, a wine and beer garden, and much more, the Spirit & Soul Festival also serves as a benefit for the revitalization of historic downtown Richmond
Richmond Main Street Farmers' Market
What: The Richmond Main Street initiative's Farmers' Market.

Why: The farmers' market is the best chance in Richmond to get the freshest produce from local farmers, or just browse the market and take advantage of the nice weather.
