In just a few short days the application deadline for the inaugural year of the Richmond Promise scholarship program will be staring eligible Richmond students in the face.
Applicants can submit their applications up until midnight on THURSDAY MARCH 17th.
Through a community benefit from Chevron as part of their agreement with the City of Richmond to proceed with their $1 billion Modernization Project, over a 10 year period $35 million was carved out to provide financial assistance for Richmond youth to help them pay for college.
Workshops are still planned to assist students and their parents with their applications.
Richmond Promise Application Workshop
This Thursday, March 17th is the deadline for submitting the Richmond Promise scholarship application! In addition to outreach on school campuses, this Thursday, Richmond Promise, Inc. and City of Richmond Staff will be providing one-on-one application support at the City Hall computer Lab to assist students with completing their Richmond Promise online application.
