Getting from home to work, getting from one city to another, metering lights, the parking lot labeled as Interstate 80—these take up a large part of our waking hours. We can sit back and hope things will get better on their own, we can check with real estate agents in Montana where traffic is less of an issue OR we can let our elected officials know what we think in the hopes they will step up and represent us to make our lives better.
Assemblymember Buffy Wicks, in coordination with the City of Pinole, BART Director Lateefah Simon's Office, and WestCAT, will be hosting a town hall meeting to discuss the challenges and opportunities to improve traffic on the I-80 corridor.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 28th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 PM in the Pinole Council Chambers.
A panel consisting of Assemblymember Wicks, regional directors, and local representatives will discuss and answer questions on local and regional transportation.
For questions about the meeting contact: Uche Uwahemu (Assemblymember Wicks' office) at[email protected]or (510) 286-1400.
This event will be televised locally by Pinole TV (Comcast Channel 28).
